dry needling
Dry Needling is a therapeutic technique that targets dysfunctional muscle tissue in the body. Dr. Beugelsdijk and Dr. Lauren use thin accupunture needles to break down myofascial trigger points (taut band of tissue) in the muscle. This provokes an involuntary local twitch response and a variety of biochemical reactions inside the body (including an increase blood supply and oxygen to the area and a decrease in nociception - the pain signal), which reduces muscle tension and inflammation, heals tissue, and restores normal function.

If you’re having trouble with muscle pain or function, dry needling is a great option!
